WHERE DOES THE GOLDEN EAGLE LIVE IN NORWAY?

In Norway, we have golden eagles across most of the country, particularly in the vicinity of mountains. They can also live in open woodland.  Open areas are important for the golden eagle to be able to hunt, as it needs both good visibility to spot it’s prey and room to dive, or stoop.

The golden eagle thrives in areas with lots of cliffs and old forest with large spruce trees, where it can build its large nests.
